LBL Selects Loer June's Best Pitcher Saturday, July 1st, 2034 There's something about a young rookie winning the Lyman Bostock League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Jason Loer, a 21-year-old starter for the Boise Bloodhounds. In June, he topped off the month with a 3-0 mark and 1.67 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 37.2 innings, fanned 40 and held opposing teams to a .215 average. To date this year in 16 starts, Loer has crafted a 6-5 mark with a 3.38 ERA. |
