Carney Takes Home LBL Top Batter Award Saturday, July 1st, 2034 Kingwood Knights fans believe they've got a talented young star in Mike Carney. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in June, as he hit .267 with 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and 20 runs scored. The end result was the left fielder being named the Lyman Bostock League Batter of the Month. Thus far this season in 66 games Carney is batting .276 with 13 home runs, 41 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 70 hits in 254 at-bats. |
