Yoshida Pounds LBL Pitchers This Week Monday, June 26th, 2034 So far in his young career, Shigeaki Yoshida has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Lyman Bostock League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old New Orleans Jedi Knights center fielder hit at a torrid .440 clip as he collected 11 hits in 25 at-bats, no home runs, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This season Yoshida is batting .332 with 95 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 51 times and has 56 runs batted in. |
