Kings Manuel Cortéz Will Miss Season Wednesday, June 7th, 2034 Manuel Cortéz is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Atlantic City organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 12-13 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. The 26-year-old starting pitcher suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws. So far this season Cortéz has 1 win and 1 loss and a 4.94 ERA. |
