Victoria's Bonilla to Miss Season Wednesday, May 24th, 2034 A blow for Hector Bonilla today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12-13 months with a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Bonilla suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Victoria Vikings are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Bonilla's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this year Bonilla has won 3 and lost 2 with a 4.55 ERA, no saves and 27 strikeouts in 11 relief appearances. |
