Injury Forces David Chavez Out Wednesday, April 26th, 2034 When David Chavez was hurt against the Tree City Black Squirrels, the Atlantic City Kings were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 22-year-old second baseman suffered a broken kneecap colliding with a player at a base in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Chavez would miss 4-5 months of the season. Hitting .302 to date, Chavez has no home runs and 4 RBIs. He has played in 15 games. |
