Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Tuesday, April 18th, 2034 You would have thought you were at a hockey game yesterday at Stable Park. A free-for-all broke out when José Martínez of Kingwood and Danny Morales of St. Paul rushed one another on the field and had to be restrained by umpires and teammates. Few blows landed, but it was enough for them to be ejected from the game. Today both teams received notification from the league office that the two players would be suspended for 4 games. So far in 2034 Martínez is batting .231 with no home runs, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. He has 6 hits in 26 at-bats and a .412 OBP. |
