Ott Socks it to Jedi Knights, Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, April 8th, 2034 It was a sensational day at the plate for Winfield Warriors right fielder Earl Ott, but a tough one for the team, as the Warriors dropped the contest 16-12 to the New Orleans Jedi Knights. Even with the loss, Ott was pure misery for the New Orleans pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-5 in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Ott, who is the 22-year old right fielder . "Ott really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Jedi Knights manager Phillip Smith told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
