Year Over for Mustangs Freeman
Wednesday, April 5th, 2034
The doctors have spoken and Marlo Freeman of the San Angelo Mustangs didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Freeman sustained his season-ending injury during the Boise Bloodhounds game yesterday at Grand Canyon Valley Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the San Angelo medical staff reported Freeman had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months.
