San Angelo Hurler Wins BOL Most Valuable Player Award

If he wasn't already a household name in SINGLE A, Kunio Otsuka of the San Angelo Mustangs certainly is now.
He has a bright future ahead of him after today being named the winner of the 2033 Lyman Bostock League Most Valuable Player Award, at the age of only 22.
"I feel like I'm getting better all the time, so I'm looking forward to the years to come," said the ace, who this year put up a 17-8 record.
Overall, Otsuka made 34 starts and pitched 234.1 innings, racking up 283 strikeouts with 78 walks and a 2.65 ERA.
Orlando Talamantez of the San Angelo Mustangs finished second in voting, while Oscar Mata of the San Angelo Mustangs finished third.
