Lyman Bostock League Best Pitcher Named Thursday, November 10th, 2033 A sparkling 17-8 mark for the year just about says it all -- that's what Kunio Otsuka of the San Angelo Mustangs put up this season. That's why the Lyman Bostock League rated him the #1 hurler in the league and named him the 2033 Cy Young Award winner. He held opposing clubs to a .198 batting average and compiled a 2.65 ERA. Otsuka stood out with 283 strikeouts while giving up 168 hits and 78 walks in 234.1 innings. Oscar Mata of the San Angelo Mustangs finished second in voting, while Kazue Fujita of the Chippewa River Chiefs finished third. |
