Houston Narrowly Wins Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division Saturday, October 15th, 2033 Say what you want about the Houston Sting and their abilities on the baseball diamond. Nobody can question their ability to celebrate a division title. The music was loud and the adult beverages were flowing tonight as the Sting officially clinched the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division. "You concentrate so hard on winning the division, so it's nice to finally be here and be able to enjoy it," said reliever Austin Hearn, whose championship t-shirt was soaked in champagne. "It's probably going to be a long night." Houston clinched the division with a record currently sitting at 90-73. It is the 5th division championship in team history and will give the Sting the opportunity to go for their 1st SINGLE A championship. |
