Player of the Week: Otis of the Vikings Monday, October 3rd, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Lyman Bostock League, but last week Will Otis of the Victoria Vikings reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Otis rocked opposing pitching for a .588 average (10-for-17), 4 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Otis has hit at a .320 clip with 133 hits, 22 home runs, 76 RBIs and 75 runs scored. |
