Figueroa Gone for Season in Coney Island Wednesday, September 28th, 2033 A blow for Jose Figueroa today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7 months with shoulder inflammation. Figueroa suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Coney Island Cyclones are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Figueroa's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Over the season Figueroa has thrown 25 innings and dished out 14 strikeouts with a 1-1 mark and a 6.12 ERA. |
