Big Day for Ray: Swats 5 Hits Sunday, September 25th, 2033 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-7 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Justin Ray, it came around today. The 21-year-old second baseman scattered hits all over The Reservation to pace the New Orleans Jedi Knights to a 22-2 victory over the Chippewa River Chiefs. Chippewa skipper Eric Rice told reporters in the press room that "Ray deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Ray hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Justin Ray hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
