Corrales's Season Could be Over
Tuesday, September 13th, 2033
West Virginia center fielder Bill Corrales could miss the remainder of the season because of a broken kneecap. He exited yesterday's Westside game after injuring himself while making a defensive play. The original diagnosis said Corrales would be out 5 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

A look at his season totals shows Corrales with 7 home runs, .222 BA, .302 OBP, 27 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
