Week's Best Player Honored by AHL Monday, August 22nd, 2033 So far in his young career, Derek Jeter Jr. has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Donnie Moore League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 17-year-old Bel Air Princes shortstop hit at a torrid .524 clip as he collected 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Jeter Jr. is hitting .347 in 2033 with 17 RBIs and 1 home run. |
