Season-Ending Injury for Ernesto Guevara
Saturday, August 20th, 2033
Ernesto Guevara will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Barrow starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Guevara was injured while throwing a pitch in the Frosties-Bums clash at Envoys Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 10 months.

Presently Guevara has a 1-4 mark in 17 starts with a 6.59 ERA. He has given up 75 hits in 57.1 innings, struck out 55 and issued 38 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .326 batting average against him.
