Sting Greg Finley Will Miss Season Monday, August 15th, 2033 The season is apparently over for Greg Finley. The Houston Sting medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 8 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Finley was hurt in the game against Westside while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Presently Finley has a 4-1 mark in 9 starts with a 1.40 ERA. He has given up 58 hits in 58 innings, struck out 65 and issued 12 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .253 batting average against him. |
