Hornets Miller and Bush Wackers Torres Suspended for Fight Tuesday, August 9th, 2033 It was quite a row yesterday at Hornets Field. The Hornets Foster Miller and the Bush Wackers Tony Torres backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Miller and Torres were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 7-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. Thus far this year Miller is hitting .238 with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Thus far this season Torres has saved 2 games. His won-lost mark is 2 wins and no losses with 44 strikeouts in 28 innings, along with a 0.64 ERA. |
