Dennis Horning Lost for Season
Sunday, August 7th, 2033
Dennis Horning will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Palm Beach reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Horning was injured while throwing a pitch in the Bums-Princes clash at Envoys Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a torn labrum and would be out a minimum of 7 months.
This season Horning has chalked up a 3.04 ERA while ringing up 2 saves with 4 wins and 1 loss. He has made 28 relief appearances, pitching 53.1 innings, giving up 46 hits, and holding opponents to a .231 batting average. Horning has also recorded 66 strikeouts and allowed 29 walks.
