Talamantez Gets BOL Batter of the Month Trophy Monday, August 1st, 2033 Orlando Talamantez may be much younger than other hitters in the Lyman Bostock League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old San Angelo first baseman hit .350 with 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 12 runs scored. Talamantez is hitting .310 this year with 19 home runs and 66 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .409, 47 walks and scored 57 times. |
