Stroudsburg First Baseman Nets AHL Award Monday, August 1st, 2033 So far in his young career, Jesus Plana has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Donnie Moore League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Stroudsburg Shade first baseman hit at a torrid .421 clip as he collected 8 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 4 runs scored. So far this season Plana has gotten 110 hits in 386 at-bats for a .285 batting average with 16 home runs. His stats include 65 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has played in 96 games. |
