Road Warriors Anders to Miss Year Saturday, July 23rd, 2033 The season is finished for Adell Anders of the Westside Road Warriors. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Road Warriors starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Bel Air Princes. Team doctors said it would take at least 12 months to heal. So far this season Anders has a 2-4 record, 19 starts, 76.1 innings, 93 strikeouts and a 3.77 ERA. |
