Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Friday, July 15th, 2033 Yesterday at The Pond Gabor Sleurink and Joey McCalvin lost their tempers and now they will have a few days off to cool down. The league office has suspended Nichols's Gabor Sleurink and Victoria's Joey McCalvin for 2 games for fighting. The suspensions are scheduled to go into effect today. This season Sleurink is batting .308 with 24 hits, no home runs, 5 RBIs, .379 OBP and has scored 11 runs. This year McCalvin has made no relief appearances with no saves. In 103 innings, he has fanned 115 hitters and recorded 11 wins and 1 loss with a 3.32 ERA. |
