Bush Wackers Rank AHL Hitter of the Week Monday, July 4th, 2033 So far in his young career, Matt Rank has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Donnie Moore League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Brisbane Bush Wackers center fielder hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Rank is swinging the bat at a .290 rate with 80 hits in 276 at-bats. To date he has hit 11 home runs, scored 40 runs and driven in 43. |
