Bloodhounds Reliever Cops Pitching Award Friday, July 1st, 2033 It is a rare occurrence, but it happened in June. A reliever, Mario Michaca, has been named the Pitcher of the Month in the Lyman Bostock League. In June, the Boise relief specialist stood out with no saves in no relief appearances, a 4-1 won-lost mark and 2.20 ERA. He worked 45 innings, allowed 37 hits, struck out 30 and walked 18. His stats sheet for the year shows Michaca has managed to hold opponents to a .298 average in no relief appearances, while putting up 7-5 record with 81 strikeouts and 44 walks in 107.1 innings. He has a 3.77 ERA with no saves. |
