Knights Tattrie Blanks Mustangs Thursday, June 30th, 2033 Chris Tattrie of the Kingwood Knights was on fire against the San Angelo Mustangs at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium today. He shut them out 3-0 on 2 hits, collecting 4 strikeouts and allowing 3 walks. "The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Tattrie said later. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that." So far this year Tattrie has made 4 starts, tossed 33.1 innings, struck out 25 batters and walked 16. His record is 3-1 with a 3.78 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .263 batting average.
