Season May Be Over for Cyclones Prine
Wednesday, June 29th, 2033
Coney Island starting pitcher Aaron Prine could miss the remainder of the season because of a damaged elbow ligament. He exited yesterday's Nichols game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Prine would be out 13 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

Thus far this season Prine has posted a 2-4 record, started 7 games, struck out 31 batters in 32 innings and compiled a 7.03 ERA.
