Road Warriors Fernandez Snags AHL Player of the Week Monday, June 27th, 2033 Omar Fernandez went on a week-long hitting streak against Donnie Moore League pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors. The Westside left fielder battered the opposition for 15 hits, no home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 7 runs. He hit .652 and posted a .724 on-base percentage. During the current season Fernandez is batting at a .325 clip with 8 home runs and 28 RBIs. He has played in 58 games and scored 25 times. |
