Kearns Sparkles in Shutout Wednesday, June 22nd, 2033 Joe Kearns was dynamite at Coney Island Coliseum today, blowing away the Coney Island Cyclones in a shutout victory. The San Angelo Mustangs starter had everything working as he held the Cyclones to 5 hits in the 7-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Coney Island skipper Gerald Pugh. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Kearns finished the game with 11 strikeouts and 5 walks.
