Road Warriors Brewer Gone for Year Tuesday, June 21st, 2033 A blow for Jack Brewer today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 10 months with a stretched elbow ligament. Brewer suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Westside Road Warriors are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Brewer's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season Brewer has picked up no saves and posted a 0-0 record with a 4.54 ERA. He has 13 relief appearances, tossed 33.2 innings and struck out 43. |
