Renteria Gone for Season in Barrow
Sunday, June 12th, 2033
When Gabriel Renteria was hurt against the St. Petersburg Pelicans, the Barrow Frosties were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 19-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Renteria would miss 9-10 months of the season.

Over the season Renteria has thrown 22.1 innings and dished out 26 strikeouts with a 0-4 mark and a 7.66 ERA.
