Winfield's Rojas Sidelined for Season
Tuesday, June 7th, 2033
The doctors have spoken and Oscar Rojas of the Winfield Warriors didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Rojas sustained his season-ending injury during the Boise Bloodhounds game yesterday at Grand Canyon Valley Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Winfield medical staff reported Rojas had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months.
