Shade Héctor García Wins AHL Award Monday, June 6th, 2033 So far in his young career, Héctor García has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Donnie Moore League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Stroudsburg Shade first baseman hit at a torrid .565 clip as he collected 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Thus far this year García is batting .404 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |
