Carpenter Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Saturday, June 4th, 2033 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Colin Carpenter of the Okanagan Lake Monsters had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate today in the 14-4 win over the St. Paul Saints at Saints Ballpark. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 22-year-old right fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Colin Carpenter struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ruben Fernandez in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off John Benefield in the 9th.
