Infante Wins BOL Prize, Named Best Hitter in May Wednesday, June 1st, 2033 Manuel Infante is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the San Angelo second baseman joined that select company when the Lyman Bostock League announced the results of May's voting. Infante totaled 37 hits, 13 walks, 9 home runs, 22 RBIs and 23 runs scored last month to put together a .366 batting average and .443 on-base percentage. Thus far this year Infante has hit .332 with 14 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
