Fujita Whitewashes Palm Beach Sunday, May 29th, 2033 Kazue Fujita of the Chippewa River Chiefs was masterful today, pitching a 2-hit shutout, 3-0, against the Palm Beach Bums. By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Chippewa manager Eric Rice. "It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too." Fujita had 10 strikeouts and 3 walks in the outing. Fujita has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 3-6 record with a 4.24 ERA.
