Andersen Stops Palm Beach Cold
Friday, May 6th, 2033
Fans at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium witnessed the San Angelo Mustangs blank the Palm Beach Bums, 6-0 behind a superb effort by starter Adam Andersen. The San Angelo right-hander allowed 3 hits in recording the shutout.
"Adam was good today but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," San Angelo manager Clyde Bowman said later. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it."
In season stats Andersen shows a 4-3 record in 7 games, 56.2 innings, 60 strikeouts and a 2.54 ERA.
