Ishibashi on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Okanagan Friday, April 8th, 2033 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Hirofumi Ishibashi of the Kingwood Knights. Ishibashi went on a tear at Stable Park and cracked hit after hit off Okanagan pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 21-year-old right fielder had a career 5-for-6 day and something he will long remember. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell them we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview. Despite Ishibashi's personal accolades, the Okanagan Lake Monsters walked off the field with the 10-9 win. Hirofumi Ishibashi singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
