Monday, November 13th, 2034
The future looks extremely bright for Orlando Talamantez. At the age of 22, many players are still trying to find their way in DOUBLE A.

Talamantez has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Roy Halladay League Most Valuable Player Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .351 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.

The Wichita Wolverines star also put up a .433 on-base percentage this year, with 213 hits, 53 doubles, 1 triple, 21 home runs, 124 RBIs and 92 runs scored.

Bob Wright of the Wichita Wolverines finished second in voting, while Nelson Marcial of the Rock River Rats finished third.
