The 27-year-old is in the prime of his career and pitching like he intends to stay around baseball for quite some time to come. He threw 36.2 innings over no relief appearances and collected a 4-0 record with 43 strikeouts and no saves while etching his 3.19 ERA. Crunching the numbers on Retter for the year, he has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 14-7 won-lost mark and 2.87 ERA.
