Takeo Takano put together a very solid month to take home the Cory Lidle League's top pitching honor in September. The 25-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 1 relief appearance he raked in no saves and 35 strikeouts in 38.2 innings as he put together his 4-0 record and 3.26 ERA. His stats sheet for the year shows Takano has managed to hold opponents to a .279 average in 28 relief appearances, while putting up 13-6 record with 120 strikeouts and 67 walks in 150.2 innings.
