League KO's Shamrocks-Hawks Players with 4-Game Suspensions Friday, September 22nd, 2034 Bad blood could be brewing between the Shamrocks and the Hawks. In yesterday's contest at McCormick Field, Pacifica's Matt Rank and Boise's Cristo Cruz caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Rank and Cruz were ejected by the umpires. Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 4 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses. League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation. Presently Rank is batting .269 and has collected 7 home runs, 52 RBIs, .363 OBP and scored 67 runs. Cruz has no saves this season with a won-lost record of 5-13 and 6.55 ERA. |
