Shoichi Ikeda Injured, Out for Season Thursday, September 21st, 2034 A blow for Shoichi Ikeda today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a torn meniscus. Ikeda suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Jacksonville Hellcats are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Ikeda's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year Ikeda has compiled a 3-6 mark with a 6.34 ERA in 14 starts. |
