Roy Halladay League Winner is Ishibashi

So far in his young career, Hirofumi Ishibashi has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Roy Halladay League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 22-year-old Sandy Springs Spartans right fielder hit at a torrid .545 clip as he collected 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
This season Ishibashi is swinging the bat at a .308 rate with 172 hits in 559 at-bats. To date he has hit 17 home runs, scored 79 runs and driven in 103.
