Nave Wins RHL Player of the Week Monday, September 11th, 2034 22-year-old Robby Nave made a few Fraser Valley headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Roy Halladay League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .458 average. Nave collected 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 4 runs. This year Nave is batting .281 with 26 home runs. He has scored 73 runs and driven in 91. |
