CLL Relief Ace Tu Named Best Hurler Friday, September 1st, 2034 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games." Quiang Tu put together a very solid month to take home the Cory Lidle League's top pitching honor in August. The 22-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 17 relief appearances he raked in 10 saves and 23 strikeouts in 17 innings as he put together his 3-2 record and 3.71 ERA. Thus far this season Tu has saved 40 games. His won-lost mark is 7 wins and 6 losses with 71 strikeouts in 69 innings, along with a 2.35 ERA. |
