RHL Player of the Week Named
Monday, July 31st, 2034
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Roy Halladay League, but last week Emanuel Torres of the Fraser Valley Black Bears reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Torres rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (12-for-24), 2 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award.

This season Torres is swinging the bat at a .324 pace. He has hit 6 home runs and scored 58 times, while driving in 37. His on-base percentage is .391 and he has played in 67 games.
