Foley Wins CLL Best Player Award Monday, July 17th, 2034 So far in his young career, Allen Foley has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Cory Lidle League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Silicon Valley Hackers right fielder hit at a torrid .438 clip as he collected 7 hits in 16 at-bats, 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Foley is batting .342 with 13 home runs and 59 RBIs. In 65 games he has scored 39 times. |
